The receivables financing business does not have the best of reputations. Small banks especially community banks will not normally take the amount of risk involved. We began a branding campaign for Catalyst to position it as a sound financial institution with a history of success. We began a series of email and direct mail pieces that focused on the Great Catalysts in Banking. Quarterly mailings were sent to loan officers, bank management and directors. Within three years, Catalyst has grown to service most of the state of Texas and gained over 800 customers.
