Tramontina is the largest producer of steel products in South America. The company established a foothold in the American market in the early 1990s with an office in Houston. The first task was to expand the channels of distribution for its cookware line. Rhymes was contracted to develop the brand. Through a series of ads and trade show communications Rhymes ads featured the superior quality of Tramontina cookware and the opportunity that its price point offered retailers. The agency created packaging solutions to enhance the value of the products and open even more shelf space for their pots and pans. Today, Tramontina’s line has expanded from cookware to knives, kitchen utensils and a host of other culinary aids. The product is a standard shelf item in Sam’s Warehouse, Target and other major retailers throughout the country.
