First offer incense; then, thy field and meads
Shall smile and smell the better by thy beads. And pastures poor with greedy weeds
Perhaps he'll hear her low at morn
Lifting her horn in pleasant meads. The plants, the bushes of the meads,
She goes on spilling her placid wealth,
And with kind eagerness she constantly feeds,But the rowen mixed with weeds,
Tangled tufts from marsh and meads,Now wanton’d lost in flags and reeds,
Now starting into sight,
Pursued the swallow o’er the meads
