Original Swamps Crips The Original Swamps Compton Crips are a medium size Crip gang that operates in the east side of Rosewood, California. Although they are located in Rosewood they still identify themselves as Compton Crips. This gang got its name from the geographical make up of the area in which they control, which is surrounded by marshes and swamp land. Their territory stretches from East Redondo Beach Blvd in the north to E Alondra Blvd in the south and from the east to the west side of E 154th Street. Before turning Crip they were known as the Swamp Boys. They turned into a Crip gang around 1973. Their allies include the Original Front Hood Compton Crips, Nutty Blocc Compton Crips, South Side Compton Crips, Atlantic Drive Compton Crips and the Mona Park Compton Crips. Their main Crip rivals include the Twilight Zone Compton Crips, Tragniew Park Compton Crips, Latana Blocc Compton Crips, Acacia Blocc Compton Crips, Spook Town Compton Crips, Farm Dog Compton Crips, Poccet Hood Compton Crips, Santana Blocc Compton Crips. Other notable rivals include the Compton Varrio 155, Compton Varrio 70's and all Compton Pirus, in particular the Campanella Park Pirus and the West Side Piru. Members of this gang tend to wear the traditional blue associated with the Crips along with green to represent the swamp.
