But since I left that damsel fair,
The thought she may have perished there,
Of cold, starvation and dispair

this soths ye spleen while that creates dispair
One you ingross in 'tother others share

Seldom should we think of prayer;
Few, if any, come to Jesus,
Till reduced to self-dispair:

When I tear off part of his very soul and wear it on this chain I bare
Like a charm soul bracelet of dispair

if i don't do this now...then i'll always dispair

This war I fight I pray I fare,
for within it's path is pain and dispair.
