Hath, like a damn'd rogue,
Brought religion in vogue,

(A pore old blackymore rogue),
When a dismal gent uprose,
And spoke with Hirish brogue:

You are slaves to custom and vogue!
You are timid to speak or to move!
You have worshipped the monied rogue!
