Where life is fairer, lighter, less demanding,
And boys and girls have time and space for play
Before they come to years of understanding--

They chose themselves prophets and priests of minute understanding,
Men swift to see done, and outrun, their extremest commanding –

If any sink, assure that this, now standing—
Failed like Themselves—and conscious that it rose—
Grew by the Fact, and not the Understanding

I do not want sympathy, just understanding
I know my suffering and pain I feel is momentarily
But my happy ending is going to be outstanding

Often they simply want affirmation and understanding,
Affirm their thoughts with a soft smile,
For all of God's children are truly outstanding!
