Lang syne I penned a mickle rhyme
That muckle grief brocht to my soul;
For critics said 'twas aye a crimeEight years after 2003-A prime after prime,
As we transcend time after time,
To welcome 2011, rhyme after rhyme. They say everything heals, just give it time
But how do I put their lies into rhyme? When life went so like a dreamy rhyme
That it seems to me now that then

I do remand thee to the shades until that happier timeIt seemed corrival of the world's great prime,
Made to un-edge the scythe of Time,
And last with stateliest rhyme.Still may syllabes jar with time,
Still may reason war with rhyme, watered through time,
a parable written rhyme...Brave singer of the coming time,
Sweet minstrel of the joyous present,
Crowned with the noblest wreath of rhyme,Grow centres for the art uv weavin' rhyme,
Wiv dinky 'arps fer blokes to plunk upon,
An' spruiking poits workin' overtime. The one who reads this rhyme.
So they will realize
Love created every time.No doubt with "shepherds" of this time
He's not the "clean potato",
Because -- excuse me for my rhyme --
